NORILA ABU HASSAN is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam. She has been lecturing the Law of Torts and Remedies in Torts since 1994. She graduated from the University of London and was a Barrister-at-Law of the Middle Temple. She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Aberdeen. She practiced as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya and the Supreme Court of Brunei Darussalam for a period of 12 years. In her years of practice, she had litigated cases involving motor vehicle accidents. DR. SUZAINI MOHD SAUFI joined UiTM as a lecturer in 2003. She holds a Ph.D in Syariah Procedures from the International Islamic University. Prior to joining UiTM she was an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. Her areas of expertise are Family Law, Civil Procedure and Civil Trial and Advocacy. MUHAMMAD UMAR ABDUL RAZAK is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, UiTM Shah Alam. He obtained his Masters in Corporate Law from the same institution in 2012. He had practiced with the largest firm in Malaysia, Zaid Ibrahim & Co in Corporate Commercial practice group from 2008 - 2010. He had been exposed to civil litigation and corporate practices. He also authored the topics on “Expert Evidence” and “Affidavit” in the Lexis Nexis Practical Guidance in 2016. His areas of interest are Corporate Law and Civil Procedure. -
Land Dealings & Conveyance of Real Properties
MOHD YUNUS ABU SAMAH is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam since 1992. He graduated with the Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 1987. He later practiced as an Advocates & Solicitors in the High Court of Malaya, specializing in Litigation and Conveyancing. AZNI MOHD DIAN joined UiTM in 2002 and is currently a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law. She obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M) at the University of Malaya in 2006. Experienced as a conveyancing lawyer since 1992, she teaches Land Law, Law of Conveyancing and Planning Law. NORAZIAH ABU BAKAR practiced as a Conveyancing lawyer and did banking litigations prior to joining UiTM as a full time lecturer. She obtained her Masters of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Malaya in 2001. She teaches Land Law, Law of Conveyancing and Solicitors Account. Her areas of expertise are Property Laws and Conveyancing. -
Probate & Administration of Estates
FARIDAH HAJI HUSSAIN is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) since 2009. She acquired her LL.M from the University of Malaya in 2007. She practiced as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya, specializing in Civil Litigation and Probate and Administration of Estate from 1993 till 2009. Her areas of expertise are Probate and Administration of Estate and Civil Procedure. DATIN PADUKA SAUDAH SULAIMAN is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, UiTM. She acquired her LL.M from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. She was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2003. Her areas of expertise are Land law and Probate and Administration of Estate. DR. AZHANI ARSHAD joined UiTM in 2007 and currently, is the Head of Law Programmes at the Faculty of Law and obtained her Ph.D in 2015 from the International Islamic University. Her doctoral thesis is on the Administration of Estates. She holds a research grant on reforming the Administration of Estates in West Malaysia. She was an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in General Litigation and Conveyancing. She was also a Syariah Practitioner and has vast experience in handling cases involving the administration of estate and family matters. -
Corporate Structure in Malaysia
DR. YANG CHIK ADAM joined Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2004 as a lecturer. She obtained her Ph.D in Corporate Law from the International Islamic University in 2013. Formerly, she was employed as the Senior Legal and Secretarial Officer of Malaysia Airlines and was awarded the Company Secretary Licence from the Companies Commission of Malaysia. Prior to joining UiTM, she practised as an Advocate and Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in corporate and general litigation. Simultaneously, she is also a Syariah Practitioner. NURAZLINA ABD RAOF obtained her Masters in Comparative Law in 2006 from the International Islamic University. She joined UiTM in 2010 as a lecturer. Prior to joining UiTM, she practiced as an Advocate & Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya. Her areas of expertise are Corporate Law, Commercial Law and the Law of Conveyancing.
