The LL.M by coursework is a fully taught programme. There are a variety of programmes  such  as :

FOR LAW GRADUATES:

Entry Requirements

a)      The minimum entry requirements for the LLM by coursework are as follows:

  • A first degree in law with at least a CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent; or
  • Other qualifications relevant to legal studies that are recognised by the Faculty

b)      A candidate who does not meet the minimum requirement as mentioned in (a) above but has the relevant working experience would be considered.

Mode of Study

Full-time             : 2 semesters

Part-time            : 4 semesters

Classess : 6.30pm-9.30 pm (Monday - Friday) for both Full-time and Part-time mode of

studies.

NON-LAW GRADUATES:

Entry Requirements
a)    The minimum entry requirements for the LLM by coursework are as follows:
•    A first degree in any field from a university recognised by the government of Malaysia with a minimum of at least a CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent; or
•    A first degree in any field from a university recognised by the government of Malaysia with a minimum of at least a CGPA of 2.50 plus at least 2 years working experience.
b)    A candidate who does not meet the minimum requirement as mentioned in (a) above but has the relevant working experience would be considered.

Mode of Study

Full-time    : 3 semesters
Part-time    : 5 semesters    

Classess    : 8.30 am-6.30 pm (Saturday) for both Full-time and Part-time mode of
studies.
